it used to be the standard that US and Russia were treated with, but i think because of the fact that these newer aircraft are just built different compared to older jets they introduced like the phantom II and mig-19. if we do get the f15 this update, then for sure the major operators would get them
my only thought about that is if germany (or other nations that didnt use the f-15 or su-27) would get equivalents, or have equipment that would at least stand a chance against those aircraft.
Lol it’s gonna be like every french plane: completly crippled at launch and slowly buffed/fixed over the course of a year or two, thanks to user made reports.
The biggest changes needed are:
The ERA isn’t “generic ERA” w/ 400 CE and 30 KE. It’s ASPRO-HMT by Rafael. ~1200mm CE and 84mm KE
The UFP should be far harder to penetrate
The triangular mantlet should not be so easily penetrated and should survive APFSDS from Challenger 2’s gun at it without penetration.
The gears should change far smoother, leading to better energy retention
The crew should sit lower so they’re behind the strikeface of the turret and not hovering above their seats
The ammunition layout shouldn’t have ANY in the drivers compartment.
Sadly… I feel like Gaijin shouldn’t implement something unless all nations have a same power counter to it.
If a nation doesn’t have an indiginous counter, then that nation should get one from another unrepresented nation.
Yes for kinetic defense, but on TES you have a composite sandwich:
which from left to right is:
ASPRO-HMT(1200~ CE, 84mm KE) / Composite Screen (110MM KE) / AIRGAP (spaced armor effectively) / HULL (55mm~ KE)
You end up with ~250MM of kinetic defence on the side of your tank at completely 0 degrees. You’re impervious to anything that isn’t a main cannon and can survive anything HEAT related.
It should also be capable of defeating Tandem warheads, so even heli-launched missiles wont break through the sides.
Is it as good as Relikt or other Soviet ERA? Not for KE, but it would MASSIVELY improve TES’ survival rates
The problem is that Germany also got those as tech tree versions soon after.
The 4000 was one jet that was revised before being cancelled in favor of the Rafale.
