they were changed a few times during the Su-25 Monopoly on IRCCM missiles
I can only guess this was done to refine the technology and well, test how bad they really are
with AV8B+ alreads being in the game and them adding 2 new top jets last Major whose main Missile are AMRAAM and R-77 I can only believe they’ll test it either on an AV8B or with number restrictions on the F-16C and MiG-29SMT

if they actually only came on the AV8B and FA2 then sure that would be fine, but I still think them coming to the current top airframes would just be way to busted
the difference to the situation with ARH missiles is that we already have had them for a bit more than a year on the F-14s
which is also why people fear AMRAAM as the AiM-54s were very much supressinf everything at top tier for a few months when the F-14 was new
I think they will give it the same add on as the Strv 122, but will keep the hull composite itself the same as the 2A6.

Assuming Gaijin gives it D-tech together with the add on armor.
It’s in Gaijins interest to add a German 122 counterpart, not the next super tank that makes the launch day 2A5 looks like a breeze.

if the A7V is going to be as Armored as we think then theres no doubt that it’ll not also get the best shell in game
in the first place DM63 has the same performance as DM53, it only has a smaller chance to detonate when hit. So that would be an easy and nice addition to add. Maybe a small penetration upgrade because of the upgraded gun. You just gotta life with people starting to complain german ammo racks dont explode
