Ever since the adoption of battleships some people crying for bigger map not considering bigger map of WOWs changed into world sniping competiton making people yawning, and actually even that of WOWs were supported with arcadic velocity system which War Thunder cannot has.
And what Gaijin gives as answer for crying for new map is Saint Josef Islands, which were one of shortest combat range map in that time. Then, they reposition old maps spawn point to even closer point. In every aspect of game from ground to naval, what Gaijin determined is that they don’t want new sniping map anymore, as it usually makes people boring and furious. I don’t think this standard will have big change in future.
