Technically, yes. However, that is a different situation, since the Challenger 2 was by design more based on the Challenger than anything else, whereas the Beaufighter Mk 21 takes the Beaufighter design and keeps a large amount of it.

I have already provided government reports on the modifications and budgetary spending on the upgrades as well as Saab Australia’s documentation on the upgrades on the old forum. Go do the research yourself, I’m sick of doing it because beoole can’t be bothered to educate themselves.
