What are they?
Seeing as the australian AIM is a US squadron vehicle I think it’s much more likely that thw Australian F/A-18 ends up as a US event or squadron vehicle.
Meanwhile the british tree already has canadian vehicles in the tree.
and at least 3 Australian ones too

It has all the carrier stuff on it removed unlike candian one and later used ASRAAMs

Its only slightly different to be honest the candian ones only difference is a light
Already has Australian vehicles too in air and naval that aren’t premium. They have 0 consistency. As well as Britain has all the Australian achievements so even gaijin has acknowledged they should be in the British tree too.

they don’t look at random nations vehicle and choose a tree for it they Look at a tree where they want to add sth and choose a vehicle for it, the (US)Premium Apache is a Prime example of that

and I bet you they do exactly that with every vehicle, there are no rules for what goes to which Nation and there shouldn’t be, that would only cause Imbalance
Australian made Beaufort and beufighter are in The British tree as are the Australian achievements and decals, rounders etc.
Neither of those 2 planes are what would have ever been called necessary or filled any gaps and had British planes that could have been added as well but warthunder obviously recognised Australia belongs with Britain. Same applies for the naval ships from the Royal Australian Navy.

but the British Beaufighter does fill a gap or rather certainly did when it was introduced

Yes which didn’t fill a major gap in the tree so was added just because they wanted to. It’s precedent of Australia belongs in Britain.
