Technically Merkava V (Barak) exists, but it’s not a huge upgrade over the 4M in terms of what can be represented into the game (360 surveilance suite, “commander HUD”, etc). So they’d have to add features to the game for it to make a difference.
They may be pigeon holed into adding enough stuff to get to Namer or Pereh. They could always do a Sabra I/II (which in IMI development was known as the Magach 8 initially).

god no the megatron would be pointless, its just an even heavier challenger 2 and considering gaijin wont add any kinetic penetration to western ERA there is no point in it ( Could get into the fact modern western ERA is supposed to be able to defeat 30mm APFSDS so it adds like 120mm of kinetic protection )

i see one error here, the F-15A Baz never equipped AIM-120s and cannot use them, Only the F-15C Akef or the F-15C Baz Meshupar which is an Upgraded F-15A.

There’s the possibility of Streetfighter 2 and Megatron also. But the only ones that will be good are the CR2 CLIP (RBSL) and the CR2E.
I remember reading it somewhere about the war package for the challenger 2s I would assume it has to explode to add that protection

the stormer AD was equipped with a 25mm GAU-12 or a 30mm GAU-13 and 2 stingers so could be like the Gepard 1A2 and be placed at 9.7

Well… There is technically 3 if you count the Strv 122C and D along with the B+
The only difference with the C and D being internal electronics and nothing else so they are basically the same as the two we already have in game.
Not like that has stopped gaijin before though as we have two Type-90s that are exactly the same with the only difference between them being one has attachment points for a dozer on the hull.

Not trying to be a bug-a-boo, but the KE protection for many ERA arrangements mostly comes from the metal containers they are in, acting as almost like two layers of spaced armor. Smaller penetrators, like 30mm, may be effected.
Yes the explosion can weaken the penetrator, but not in a significant manor, not unless it’s purpose designed for that. Eastern ERA has that to a degree.
It could be a NERA screen that is in front of the ERA layer, or it could be the ERA is large enough to defeat the round. Repeat autocannon shots would be a problem however, so it wouldn’t be too effective as ERA either.
