Best IFV style vehicle we can get are VBCI and VBCI 2 (CTA40, both the basic and the philoctete).
EBRC Jaguar is not an IFV but more a “light tank”.

No worries. I’d also argue that Britain hasnt gotten a top tier this year either. I consider “top tier” the same BR as the highest BR in game. 1 step higher or if its a decent airframe, 1 step lower. As Britain’s only aircraft this year was an 11.3 added 3 months after 12.0s were added and at that cannot fight those 12s. it should not be classed as top tier

Yeah. I think the general consensus is that even a Prototype Typhoon would be about BR13. To me, that means Britain, Germany and Italy could get the Typhoon 6 months or so after other nations get 12.7s Like we saw 3 (now 4) getting 12.3s after 12.0s were added. This means Typhoon as early as June. But as it currently stands though. Im suspecting that ALL nations will need to be at minimum 13.3-13.7 before Typhoon will even be conisdered

If it don’t come with superior missile (= fox3) i don’t think so. Afaik the FM is not that much better than the -5F for example (almost similar engine power i’ve read somewhere), depend of the variants of Gripen of course.

That just means the Swedish one will be 12.7 no Guarantee the SAAF one britian is likely going to get will be 12.7 as well. Even with identical weapons.

There was an outrage when all Britian got was an 11.3 to fight 12s. Gaijin just ignored us. They dont care. But FA2 with Aim-9M and Aim-120Bs might at least have teeth. Only other option is the Tornado F3 CSP but we aren’t getting Aim-120C5s and ASRAAM.
Im betting FA2 because:
- FRS1 recent overhaul (and I dont believe their excuses for why it took 9 months to finish the FRS1)
- 105 engine is already in game
- The radar is near enough coming with the Gripen C anyway
- Its Britains last remaining native A2A fighter
