Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 1)

It was added a couple days ago and it’s for all HMS/HMD in the game. F-16 HMD is bugged with incorrect tracker position and HUD scale when zoomed in. Also looks kinda funny with haze effect enabled

So afaik, for now in top tier, F-16Cs, F-14s, Mirage 2000-5F and JA 37D have missile warning system ?

I’m a little lost, is that the same things as the MAW in the F-111A ?

MAW is for all treats while Launch warning works for radar missiles.

Alright thanks.

Hope they give MAWs to every jet that could have it, afaik now only the F-111A got it, but i’ve read the -5F should have it too (and perhaps some others)

360° MAW (against only rear MAW for the F-111s (correct me if i’m wrong)) on the Mirage 2000-5F could help it a lot against smokless missiles.

@Smin1080p will there be a devblog this week, or should we set down our popcorn and stand by a lil more?

Yeah… Personally I’m just tired of seeing that 95% of the new stuff added every update is modern. Countries like Great Britain, Germany, France or Japan have lots of options. The USSR too! When are they going to add the early T-26? When will they add the Laffy W15 TCC? Early Panzer II, more Vickers tanks… This last update was pretty much just M109 copy paste for everyone and that’s it, barely anything new on the ground.

It’s just frustrating.

He already say not this week.

And by the sound of the answer from him, i think neither the next week.

I guess first devblog season of next major update it might be ground vehicle high-tier like first devblog major update “apex predator” or new battleship toptier from royal navy

it’s most likely between next tuesday and friday, judging by almost every other christmas update

I hope gaijin is kind enough to show us some little teasers or hints… just so that the shiffering goes away. 😵‍💫🤪

Would be a funny low tier but hard to use :p

And i already see the joke comings about it on a potential devblog on it. Even if nothing like that was said about the Archer :p

It’s pretty much an even more unarmored Lorraine 37L but faster, that’s plus basically being an Archer, yeah.

(Also a bit ugly from the front imo).

He would mean F-16C/D Block 30 & Block 40 Barak from Israel Air Force and Israel Defense Forces
never employ AIM-120

But I’m not surprised F-16C/D Block 40/42 (F-16CG/F-16DG) “Night Falcon” from USAF & USA Allies armed AIM-120

Wooop enjoy the launch warnings, it’s very immersive.

It will definitely help if JA37D gets AIM-120 in the future.

I’m pretty sure the F-4F (late) has one

Only rear aspect for F-111 yeah.

Yep. Magic rails-mounted MAW. It could be used by all 2000 afaik.

Rail-mounted MAW had 360° FOV but only horizontally. Vertically it has quite massive blind spots.

It falls into F-4E (all) category
Correcting it now since EJs are different too
