Well, clean F-15E can go a bit over Mach.
But with supercruise the dry to wet thrust ratio changes and other things with the engine, the F110/F100 just isn’t really optimized for it
Reheat but the point is a Raptor driver is talking about how much thrust a Typhoon has. Now we know F-15EX was produced to preserve the Raptor fleet and to work with the F-35.
The point I make is no Raptor guy is jumping in an F-15 and thinking this is fast.

Lets take a look at Typhoon in game.

Radar is no better than any of the top tier AESA
Missiles 120C and 9M these are 30 year old missiles. Typhoon would have been patroling Bosnia with this load out.
Typhoon in game depends on its performance so when you make everyone else faster, the small payload options and instructor modelling becomes a massive issue.
Su-30 already beats Typhoon, more missiles similar flight performance and great Radar.
F-15EX with 12 120Ds just dominates anything at BVR.
Which is why maybe when Gen 5 is here Typhoon can have a new flight model, new missiles a DASS sytem that works, PIRATE and IRST reworks…

- F-15EX max load increased to what it should be
- F-15IA got Derby and Litening III
- new bombs for F-15s (both U.S. and Israel): GBU-32/49/50

I dont know wich plane can carry cluster bombs, but why add them for a few planes, that are in the top of the tree?

From what I can tell, US/Soviet/French aircraft (for now; this isn’t indicative of anything. It’s normal)
