France does have a domestic 5th gen (just poking fun at Northrop calling the B-21 a 6th gen despite being a bomber).
Honestly, there’s no issue with Rafale being the only aircraft for the foreseeable future for France at top tier if that ends up being the case.
except the fact that just about every 5th gen will outclass it

Well yes I can see how you’re led to believe that when the in-game Rafale is not even close to being realistically modeled.

i know its unrealistic but its not the only one, and should we talk about the HMD its not supposed to have and the 2 extra micas its also not supposed to have (or the name just being wrong as it has the characteristics of an F.4 while being an F.3)
The context* is whether or not the Rafale can stand up to 5th gens in the future, so why does your question matter when the Rafale F4 would come in the future and it would have HMD and the 2 extra MICAs which is realistic?
Gripen will only get more if they don’t give the Rafale or EFT dual mount Meteors
i was just messing around realistically all late 4.5’s will be able to compete with 5th gens fine (Typhoon Rafale SU-35 etc) unless they model stealth to be literally unlockable which isnt the case
Well, to go further than that, the Rafale would be able to do 8x MICA-IR which also have datalink while being long-ranged, yes other people would have more Meteors, but the Rafale more than makes up for it because it gets MICA NG EM, and if that’s not enough, then give it the 8x MICA NG IR loadout which is a 100km ranged IR missile. Realistically speaking I would be surprised if a very late Rafale isn’t a higher BR than some 5th gens.
i do expect later eurofighter and rafale variants to sit at a higher br than the F-22A and SU-57 as Meteors Asraams Iris-T Mica IR MICA NG etc but i think the F-35s will be higher
