Aim-424 isn’t in service yet and also outperformed by other Chinese missiles that are in fact in service
You what now? How would you know a “not in service” missile and therefor unknown performance is outperformed by in-service missiles which’ performance parameters are highly guarded?
Well we have to go by what the US states publicly about the missile no?
Lol officially the pl-15 gets mogged by ingame 120D, well PL-15E with 145km
In the files however gaijin gave it 200km
Heard about PL-17?
i mean, according to the lowest end initial public ranges, it can do well over 463km range, and its only two launch platforms are the F-35C and F/A-18E/F so that range is naturally going to be for them already.
J-20 cant carry it, even if it could like only 2 on outboard weapons stations
It can externally actually
can carry 4 on external wing pylons
Nope it hasnt been sighted with the correct plyons lol
are there pictures?
No lol
isnt that because it didnt get the FM rework other fox 3 did?
that still doesnt show airframe compatibility
Guess i’d better book a flight to chengdu because pictures of this on the internet for Europe might as well be like finding classified specs of a US ICBM
Chinese aviation spectating in the west consists of waiting for a random grainy image to appear and analysing capabilities on that
I am 90% sure the PL-17 uses DF-4 pylon which the J-20 hasnt been sighted with
All marketing of the PL-17 has been in relation to J-16 and J-20

Here is a graphic for sightings of each modern PLAAF missile
It literally hasnt been seen with it nor have the pylons seen with it, the j-20 could be unlucky placement for all we know
You are assuming which is stupid and just spreads missinfo…
