lol yes. AVIC has itself stated that Stealth requirements for the J-35 were far greater than for the J-20
Considering that the J-20 will need as much thrust as it can get to be the ‘effective BVR’ jet out of the 3 big stealth jets, I’d rather take the newer variant with more thrust and other refinements than potentially suffer

Regardless of legitimacy, there are signs of clear progression in design philosophy between J-20 and J-35, I do not think it’s unreasonable to say they will have implemented lessons learnt in designing the J-20 to enhance the stealth of J-35
but saying its on par with the F-22 is kinda uhhh
