i feel like adding the strv 123a wouldt have been that hard. they will have to move the 2a8no to the “finnish” line eventually when the 123s are added so i dont really get why they didnt just add a 123a to the normal line and the 2a8no to the “finnish” line¨ Just. give the 122a better armour, the extra covering armour of the 2a8 and the l55gun and gen 3 thermals. ez near copy paste addition
That said the 2a8no adds more to gameplay than the 123a if they could only add one due to the 123a not having APS atm.
tho i reject the notion that they could only do one. both swedish vehicles were copy paste. they could have given the atention that sweden hasnt gotten this year in a single vehicle with the 123a. (seriously this year has been stinky for sweden.)

I do think the AESA EFT is performing unusually better than the standard 'phoon, there is likeley a fair bit of stat skewing from the cream of the crop players being a larger portion of the vehicles users than is the case for most vehicles.
The base typhoons radar is rather cruddy at times so just that change may well be all thats needed to jump the typhoon from a 1.17 to 1.72. See the same pattern but less pronounced with the german one going from 0.92 to 1.20 and italian going from 1.05 to 1.36.
I do think we need to keep in mind that people will be using that rafale stock for the first time, while facing spaded and aced rafales. We both know how unfriendly top tier air is. being stock is a much bigger deal for top tier planes than it is for top tier tanks, thats probably a large reason for why we dont see the same pattern of “X nations tank goes to a minor nation and does 3x better straight off the bat” with air.
Doesnt help that Israeli mains are jumping from US doctrine aircraft to a Eurocanard, theres a culture shock there too.

yeah, a 123a really wouldnt add much other than a few dm of pen and better thermals and an ambigous non disclosed lever of added armour. so like. i fully get why they didnt add it
but as i am swedish i have to slander a norwegian tank being added to sully the beautifull line of swedish leopards
(also when the strv 123a and 123b are eventually added the 2a8no is being moved to the finnish branch 100% so its slightly silly for it to be added now)
