I just hope that the army decides to upgrade the radar on the Apache to an AESA one, and the USMC decides to actually put a radar on the AH-1Z
Edit: Actually I just found this article about an AESA radar being tested for the AH-64E. Although it says it is wing mounted. So whether it sits on top of the wing like the Cobra FCR tested on the AH-1Z or on the bottom taking up a hardpoint IDK.

Just because it is in the files doesn’t mean it’s coming anytime soon. The PL-15 has sat in the files for years and it is only (maybe) coming next update. And the Shrike also sat in the files for years before being added. And those are just the only 2 I remember off the top of my head.

There’s PL-15 and then there’s Spear 3, which is completely different and doesn’t really change anything too drastically.
(Unless they finally decide that MMW guidance/weapons will not bring about the premature heat death of the universe, that is)
They could (and should IMO) add it to NE at the very least. They are doing it for cluster bombs so we know it’s possible.
Also those are just the 2 I could think of off the top of my head. There are plenty more.

Cluster bombs don’t have MMW. It’s basically a dumb bomb
(IF you meant restricting CBs to Air modes, that’s different)
they already stated they´ll get the DM53
That doesn’t mean they can’t add them for NE at least, if they still can’t be convinced it wouldn’t be super game breaking for GRB
Also there are cluster bombs like the CBU-97 and CBU-105 where all of the submunitions are guided, and there’s also the AGM-154B JSOW that uses the same warhead with the same guided submunitions.
