Would the Leclerc actually be better with a major rework? I always thought it was a fairly accurate representation the tank irl, it just thought it dindt fit the War Thunder meta very well.

Likely not much, I don’t expect any massive changes. Just some QOL stuff.

Hell the Leclerc will always just be a kind of worse/sidegrade M1A1 HC/M1A2 even with shard, so it’s hard to really justify a BR above 12.7 for any Leclerc.

You know, since we got brake lights, I think it’s time to finally add navigation lights for planes and headlights for tanks, and having a key bind for em would make it so you can turn them on when you want to, for example if you’re taking screenshots and pics of your and your friends new F-15EX in formation at night :)

Yeah, I think a BR reduction combined with a rework would be the best approach. They could just move one of the Leclerc variants to top tier so France still has a top tier tank eventhough its would not be that good.

Notes on munition types:

• FAPDS:
  This munition was first tested on the CA1 PRTL model, but was offically implemented on the GWI model, as the CA1 would suffer harsh wear and tear when using this munition, leading to needed improvements. The cartridges have sub-calibre ammunition, meaning that part of the cartridge, after leaving the barrel, is repelled and the core continues to fly at high velocity. Due to the higher ejection speed, of 1.440 m/sec. On impact with the target surface, the penetrator breaks into several KE fragments. The round has Frag-HE effects with the higher velocity and flat trajectory of a sabot round. It also has the ability so self-destruct at programmed ranges when linked to the new sensors on the guns and fire-control computer system. This with an increased range of 4800 m. (Tweede Kamer, 1996)

Because the F-15EX only has 12 radar data link channels, the radar-guided missiles can only be limited to 12. Obviously, this reason is pretty ridiculous. So for the SU30SM2 and J15/16 with 8 data link channels, should their radar-guided missiles also be limited to 8?
