That case is different however as it is known what the Italian EFT AESA is coming with, that can’t be said for the F-15IA where it could differ visually in appearance and equipment compared to the F-15EX.

Honestly i would have been Happy with the romanian Abrams for Italy at this point but gaijin can’t even put togheter the Ariete with Hitfact 2 turret. They Will rather give nothing to the italian ground tech tree at top br than make people happy

Since France could greatly benefit from it. Now the addition is Fresh, later it will just be perceived as C&P to dilute additions to France.
F-15JSI is a bit different considering its upgrading straight from F-15Js (which are more equivalent to Cs) and is more focused on Air iirc

And now that the game is moving into more advanced MBTs there is the possibility France could potentially get some of the newer Leclerc testbeds/demonstrators (if we’re lucky)

Much like the AESA Tyhpoons, if something changes, we will study and review that too.
Can we get the German one to be updated with lws as seen earlier this year. And maybe that leopard 2 DM rework you guys mentioned was in the works nearly 4 years ago now…

technically F-15CX was a thing before they focused on F-15EX due to production worries/incapacities.
Could essentially re-do the current F-15J and stick F-15EX technology in there. Boom, JSI
I thought it’s enough for now . It’s give you with this aircraft some good weapons in cas and the aim 120d for bvr but we will see

Again, the feedback for France has generally been for less Leopards. So given this one is not in service and probably wouldn’t be appreciated much at this moment in time. A lot of factors go into it.

As cool as that’d be, I think it’d be better to have an operational later F-15J with MAWS, Integrated ECM and such. It can sit at a lower BR and still be quite capable.
