the difference between the F-15E and F-15EX ingame is drastic compared to the fictional configuration of the Su-30SM2 ingame which is 95% of an Su-35 already

The only ‘unique’ missile is R-77M for Su-35

My bad, you’re right, the Su-30SM2 does run the AL-41F1S engines. However, the point about the airframe still stands. The SM2 is a heavy, two-seat multirole fighter, which means it carries a lot of dead weight in pure air-to-air engagements compared to a dedicated, single-seat air superiority platform like the Su-35S. Russia still needs the Su-35S as the proper, nimble counterpart to the F-15EX’s flight kinetics.
So can the Su-30SM2.
