Yes, F-15EX is F-15E with AESA, Spherical RWR and 4more missle, better FM then F-15E but thats it, Eurofighter and Rafale still have Better FM and AESA EFT even has a radar with much better scan area then F-15EX which would matter alot now due to the increase maneuverability of AMRAAMS
In future, yes, but so will other nation receive their next gen IR which would be equally good or even better then 9X

Let’s see… Without counting 5th gen we have:
- USA gets the F-15EX, the F/A-18E blk3 and maybe the F-16E, with AIM-9X, AIM-174, AIM-260, AIM-424
- Germany gets the Eurofighter with IRIS-T and Meteor
- USSR gets the Su-35S, MiG-35 and MiG-31BM with R-74M2, R-77M and R-37M
- Britain gets the Eurofighter with ASRAAM and Meteor, and maybe the F/A-18F with new toys too
- Japan gets… Probably the Rafale with MICA IR/EM, Meteor
- China gets the J-16, J-15T and J-10C with… PL-10? PL-15? I’m not familiar with Chinese missiles
- Italy gets their Eurofighter too
- France gets their Rafales with MICA IR/EM and Meteor
- Sweden gets their Gripen E with IRIS-T and Meteor
- Israel gets the Rafale with MICA IR/EM and Meteor, and eventually the F-15IA
It’s not getting 9X this patch, if IIR were added, they would surely announce it in a dev blog.

It’s not necessarily denied, just that it’s a huge thing for aircraft that I’d assume it would be in a devblog
Japan could see another F-2 with AAM-5 and AAM-5B missiles.
Nothing the EX can carry, cannot already be carried by other platforms already in game, i.e. 15C GE, F/A-18E, F16C PoBIT, etc, so there’s nothing even remotely power creep-y with it. All it will be is a Golden Eagle that is measurably heavier, but with better engines and a MAWS. IRL there’s more differences but for game purposes that’s it.

I use dark mode for most things but I don’t like the dark mode colours on the forum (slightly blue tint)
EX can be equipped with MAWS. It’s an advanced eagle, it can use AN/ALR-57 like the other F-15SA/QA do.
That’s fine, It will still be a good jet without MAW or 16 missiles,
