agm 65 is a shorter ranged anti heli air to ground missile that you can fire from up to like 12km reliably id say. heat/sap warhead, TV, IR, or laser guidance. agm 88 listens for enemy radar emissions, and if its within its range of detectable bands, lock, and guide itself for as long as that radar remains on. you use them to kill radars and radars alone.
