Creating mountains from more than 3 polygons is impossible? Creating non 45-90 degree angles at rivers, roads, lakes is also impossible? Why? Is it laziness?

On air maps, designed to be seen from above, not from ground level.
Of course some places should be fixed (feel free to post bug report if there are some broken land parts).
I know that it is possible to play on high settings, but there is still an advantage to lower settings. I am not a new player in the game, and I think this is clear. For example, explosions or fog. There are some effects such as weeds that cannot be stopped on high settings, but on low settings they are not present. As for harming the eye by watching TikTok, this is a crime against your eye, really

Ngl, I’m really not feeling the new map visuals, they look extremely bland and kinda washed out.
Also, the reflective surfaces seem to be way too reflective most of the time.
Super cool, are there any big improvements to be expected for 2025? Because at no time does Gaijin mention DAGOR 7.0, which means that we are still at version 6.5. Usually with every big graphics update Gaijin mentions a move to a more powerful DAGOR engine 3.0-4.0-5.0-6.5 except this update.
but i think that, even though the matches are usually quick, the devs should put it in the game anyways. because even though most matches are quick, its not uncommon for me to stay until the end of the match!
maybe put a timer on the respawn screen informing you of the next weather change, changing every 7 - 10 minutes… so it won’t be so unpredictable either…
i really think this would be a way of bringing diversity to the matches and would add a lot to the game
Trees on Vietnam (ground map) map have Playstation 1 LOD until you get closer than 50 meters. Actually no, it’s worse than that. The trees are 2D sprites like in the first Doom game from 1993. It wasn’t always like that though. The LOD issue started happening like a year or so ago. Vietnam (ground!) is the most affected, but other maps suffer as well.
Why do you mock a fellow player like that for pointing out bugged out LOD? Genuine question: Do you even play the game?
Adopting DX12 and introducing the (tbh kinda bad looking) ray tracing probably were the highest priority right now. Actual engine updates could be coming next year tho.

War Thunder in 4k maximum graphical settings in all its glory right there. The LOD distance is even worse than I thought. The trees pop in only when you are flying trough them lmao.
