The new update gave us the Belgium F-16 OCU that can fire magic 2s and Aim9ms at 12.7. The same br as I believe with the mig29 9.12 and 9.13 in the soviet and Italian tech trees which they only have r60ms paired with r27ers as their best loadout. How is that fair!! 6 smokeless aim9s at 12.7 and their tech tree f16 with the same loadout is in 13.0. So either the squadron f-16 ocu should be up in br or the mig29 should be fix with r73s and get rid of the r27ers and ets.

Better question is why F-16A on 12.3 this is really questionable irccm missiles and only 0.3 br. difference ?

its BR makes sense when comparing it to the JAS39A Gripen. Overall tho we need a BR decompression.

It most definitely would. I am just saying that Gaijin most likely compared it to a “similar jet” the A Gripen.
720 countermeasures, HMS for missiles and radar, arguably better flight performance and the ability to carry SARH missiles.
It is too weak to fight 14.3s if it were to be moved up (which it should) but in comparison the F16 OCU is much worse making 12.7 seem reasonable if there weren’t 50 other planes.
This plane is probably making Gaijin a lot of money rn and I don’t see it being moved up until the next BR rework.
the F-16A is literally right next to it in the tech tree and it doesnt get to pick between magic 2s or 9Ms either
fair enough. Only reason i can think of now is the lack of bombs on the OCU. Honestly there might just be no reason at all
