Currently in game, all U.S. helicopters uses Vietnam War era pilot model.

This is not very adequate for the modern helicopters, therefore I suggests new pilot model for modern U.S. rotary wing aircraft.

Army Helicopters

M142 and Apache Block III Integrated Rotary Wing Helmet System (AH-64E)

The M142 helmet was a general standard for AH-64 pilots. From the AH-64E, a newer helmet based on the HGU-56/P was adopted. Both helmet is configured with the IHADSS, which provides vital information to the pilot.

The HGU-56/P helmet is commonly used on U.S. Army helicopter fleet. Sometimes the HGU-84/P maxillofacial shield is used for safeguarding lower face.

The flight suits are exist in multiple colors. Current U.S. Army standard is the A2CU flight suit in OCP camouflage, so I’d suggests:

  • YAH-64A, AH-64A, AH-64A (GR), AH-64A Peten (USA): M142 + olive drab flight suit
  • AH-64D: M142 + OCP flight suit
  • AH-6M, OH-58D, MH-60L DAP: HGU-56/P + OCP flight suit

AH-1Z

TopOwl HMD

AH-1Z pilot uses different HMD, a Thales TopOwl.

The flight suit for the Marine aviators mostly comes in two color: olive drab and desert tan. The vests are coyote brown, just like the infantry gears.
