Only for them to respawn again?
Pretty much.

Which anyone could have predicted, and the radar doesn’t stay off for the flight time, the ARM just doesn’t reacquire the emitter. Gotta love the monkey’s paw yet again striking.
Just deploy glide bombs on the threats, arms have been pretty much kneecapped. Or don’t even really bother engaging the AA because they’re so substandard at striking aircraft you can safely ignore them in most circumstances.
I watched the AA on a S-300 site intercept an F-16 worth of SDB’s and then still kill the plane.
Granted they are firing only when they are closer but the AA are still way too accurate at hitting munitions.
Gotta love how gaijin tries to fix things only to ruin it
They never respwan …
My god war thunder players are dense
Usually yes but now with the AA radars being off I’m seeing loads of people being shot down without any warning at all, just happened to fly over an AA that they couldn’t see because of the spotting and the AA firing from point blank range without any RWR warning.
Should only really occur if it spawns under you, which I have noted occurring a few times now. They’ve addressed the worst of the SACLOS shenanigans, but this one still crops up.
that’s what it looks like BUT we may see them before the end of the month
I’ve actually had quite lot of fun flying the F-4 in this mode. The AA is much better balanced. Rare gaijin W.
I feel like the rounds could be longer though, and for the time it takes to play one match the rewards could still be increased. Either way at least it’s fun unlike ARB.
Also did the B-52 not make a return? I thought the blog said that, but I haven’t seen it appear anywhere.
I just finished testing both high-BR brackets on both sides, and here’s my take.
On the US/NATO side, things feel largely unchanged from the previous patch. The GBU-39 remains the only truly viable air-to-ground option—just like before. The S-300 is still a non-threat, especially against pop-up attacks, and offers little resistance.
The JSOWs are usable, but the GBU-39 outperforms them in almost every way. Since JSOWs can’t destroy hardened targets, they essentially function as heavier, less efficient GBU-39s. Still, it’s nice that the AV-8B and F/A-18 at least have the option.
As for the AGM-88s, they remain effective only in pop-up engagements from 30–40 km against S-300s, and are really only useful as a self-defense tool in direct-fire mode under 10 km.
Now, on the Russian side… oh boy. Gaijin has overcorrected—as usual.
The SAMP/T now turns off its radar but keeps firing, and it still has dual radars and dual launchers. The Kh-31 feels useless now, largely due to exaggerated drift in its inertial guidance model.
So the Kh-31 is ineffective against the SAMP/T, and since the Spyder doesn’t turn off its radar, that’s not a viable target either.
Against the ITO? Well, the ITO’s missiles are twice as fast and three times as maneuverable as the Tunguska’s, with greater range to boot.
But surely the Kh-31 is better than NATO ordnance, right? Not really. With the SAMP/T and Spyder effectively removed from the menu as valid targets, the ITO wasn’t designed to be engaged by the Kh-31 either. The ITO only turns on its radar at around 18 km, and below 12–13 km, the Kh-31 simply won’t hit anything. You’d need a perfect approach, lightning-fast reflexes, and a bit of luck just to avoid the missile plowing into a field because you clicked a fraction of a second too late.
And good luck doing any of this under the constant rain of SAMP/T missiles and AIM-120s. Thanks to the S-300 being SACLOS, evading it is just a matter of breaking LOS for some seconds. But the SAMP/T,again, with double the launchers and radars compared to the S-300, plus ARH capability, will just dominate the airspace and keep the Russian team suppressed all match, NOT like the BUK a month ago, but still much more effectively than the S300.
Maybe you wanted to do some bombing like you can with GBU-39s? Not anymore. In the last session, FAB-1500s and FAB-3000s could slip through SAM coverage similarly to GBU-39s. This time, that’s not the case. So no bombs for you, sorry.
Ah, but surely the Kh-38 will save the day? Nope. Those missiles didn’t work last session, and they still don’t now. Out of 6 Kh-38MTs, you’ll be lucky to get a single kill. Meanwhile, with 8 GBU-39s, I can consistently wipe out an entire SAM battery or all three SAMs guarding a depot.
So, to summarize:
· NATO is essentially unchanged from the end of the last patch.
· Russia is currently unable to perform any meaningful air-to-ground role.
I say this as a veteran of both CAS and CAP—I know how to use every system in the game. I was wiping out BUK batteries with the F-16C within half an hour of the first NT session a month ago. This time around, I’m genuinely out of options. As it stands, Russian teams cannot effectively conduct CAS, SEAD, or DEAD without extreme luck or engaging completely unprotected targets.
Visual bug
Finnish F18C MLU 2 bugged pylons for JSOW’s after the increase of the amount that can be carried
Add mixed battles, queue times are unbearable, Redfor teams are completely empty, creating a match is impossible.
Anyone used the agm-154s yet?
Maybe if Kh-25MPU will be added on more aircrafts so it can save the day?
At the end of the last NT the balance was already in favor of the blue side, changin BUK with S300, and doubling the sampt radar and launchers was already enough.
This change for long range AA negated the 9nly strength of the red side.
If this mechanic has to stay BLUE side AA need to be saclos too (why nullify the red side SEAD but keep the blue side ARH AA?) Or the buk need a come back (i would say changing SAMPT with PATRIOT PAC2 would be better) or revert the long range AA change and keep the short range AA changes.
Also RN the only viable A2G weapon are the gbu39 … this is not very good IMO neither for bluefor nor redfor.
To solve the A2G issues there would be a easy fix … actually have a frontline and not a conglomeration of depots and AA , those would be only for second line IRL, leave an open space with only trenches, fortifications, tanks, light veichles and IR AA between the 2 second lines (depots and saclos aa) so that A2G weapons have actually something to kill and fighters can have a little breathing space for CAP and CAS.
The current frontlines make no sense either from immersion, realism or balance.
I felt quite the opposite.
Dont get me wrong, 39’s are really good, but a few usually get intercepted.
With JSOW though I can throw 3 of them at 3 ITO’s near the depot and be sure all 3 will be dead 99.9% of the time.
dont think theyre stealthy

Played a couple matches on blue side with the F-15E and it seems to be extremely powerful and is probably one of the best planes for blue by far. It is extremely dominant if it gets the 13.0-14.0 bracket while still being quite good in 13.7-14.7 with the 20x GBU-39/53 + maverick/AGM-130/AGM-154 etc. loadouts and can wipe out S300s/ground targets/depots easily.
This match I basically destroyed all of the S300s + Nebo radars with GBU-53s pretty much by myself.
