I really miss it to see how many vehicles I got and spaded … as a collector this is just bad. :-(
When looking at the ribbons, you’ll really get a sense of achievement. And it really make a player feel like being a soldiers with outstanding military achievements. The new profile card looks really cheap and empty. These numbers are heating the argument between players. We ask for the old profile card, to make Warthunder looks not that cheap as some webpage games.
Yes, the sense of achievement is unparalleled and would very much like to go back to the previous profile
I hope this changes, after all, it is for the players
What statistics are the initial Player Profile representing, they do not match your actual statistics; what do they represent? Random battles?, Non random battles?, Can someone please tell me what they represent because the statistics on my Player Profile, LOL, I have never been that bad. Is this a bug?
Could you tell me what the statistics on the Player Profile represent, because they do not match my actual statistics? Are they supposed to represent a certain time frame? I have never been as terrible as the statistics represented in my Player Profile, is it a bug mate?
I am starting to wonder, as I have seen answers from devs, game moderaters…etc over other topics, I do not believe these people actually play the vehicles in the game much. And so the sense of achievement and progression through the “grind”, if you will, doesn’t have the same meaning to them. For instance, one of the Game Moderators was going on about how a certain vehicle had not changed, then finally it came out after I asked 3 times, they have never flown the vehicle at all. Do you see where Im going?
This game is one of my hobbies, and just like say a SCULPTURE, I would like to see how I progress in this project if I may call it that.
The New Player Profile is the worst part of this update. I used to be able to see all the data of my enemies or teammates on the old Player Profile and it was very intuitive. After this new update, I feel that it is the same as the interface of a mobile game, and I cannot view other players’ data very well. I really hope that gaijin can listen to players’ opinions and return to the old version or add a button so that we can switch between the new and the old.
It’s your most played mode statistics…but little do I think these could tell the real level of a player.
I understand that mate, but what Im wondering is, the statistics on my “Player Profile” in Air RB do not match my ACTUAL statistics on the “Statistics” tab, the Player Profile is not correct, that is what I do not understand. You are absolutely correct as well on rating a player by his Card.
You know if I am not mistaken I read the book by Bruce Lee a long time ago, “The Art of Self Defense”, and do you know the first line in the book was, “Never underestimate your opponent”
Player cards can be deceiving, I myself do not have a BAD one, but Im not DEFYN either. That being said, I became bored with the game about a year ago, dont have the equipment to properly play Air Sim, and so for about six months flew in Air RB in the pilot view to practice for Sim. Ive flown 50 missions in my Mig29smt to destroy Roland, and wasnt concerned about airkills.
Im not saying that to defend my Card, I am just giving examples of these people who like to get on the Forum or trolls on the battle chat talking about k/d ratios, …etc.
Not everyone is statistic driven, I just like the challenge of weird missions, say for instance. People on these chats are getting bad about deriding others on their cards. Well said on that, and Im not in “defensive mode” I am just in agreement. Its funny, I think I have like 5400 flyouts, 2800 airkills, and 750 ground targets destroyed, but play in pilot view, been playing since 2012 with all those prop dogfights in between, now I have several BR13 planes, and looking at my player card you would never know, that when Im playing for airkills, I am going to pile some up that night.
Youre right, I may glance at a Card at the end of a battle, to see the last two or three planes, but Bruce Lee said it right, Never underestimate your opponent. I will go with him over some troll talking about k/d ratios anyday. Good Luck Mate
Youre absolutely right, to be quite honest I dont think a lot of the devs actually play the game itself. Ive had a couple of Game Mods try to tell me something about a plane, and come to find out, they’ve never even flown the plane. I hope they do something about that, the update hasnt been bad, but the Player Profile was not good. It cheapened your Grind, and downplayed your acheivements in game. Really it is pretty generic compared to the old one. Dude Ive come to the conclusion that if the devs arent fiddling with something they wouldnt have a job. Good Luck
The stats on the player profile are for a specific mode, e.g. realistic ground combat, while the stats tab is a summary of both ground and air.
And yes, in their current form, they are both pretty useless.
Useless is a very pertinent word, good selection of our communication choices as we homo sapiens communicate in this area of our Epoch, LOL.
The current player and stat cards no longer contain the information I need. Neither for tracking my own progress nor for checking the abilities of others.
In other words, unusable.
Edit: It’s not that big a deal, but in its current form you might as well remove the thing entirely.
I cannot permanently set my preferred game mode on the main page of the profile. It defaults to Ground Arcade every time I relogin to the game.
New profile card is garbage.
Looks like it was made for some trash mobile game.
For me the look doesn’t matter that much, but the function.
And with every update they made it more complicated…
You need more and more clicks to see informations.
I use the record especially in prop airrb to check enemies while climbing.
With this changes you see nothing without clicking several times over and over again.
On first page you see nothing.
The record can’t hold first choice, you have to choose every single time airrb.
The filter has no saving function. New player, new clicks.
Yeah, while I don’t really check player cards that closely when I fly(AB mostly) I have found yet another severe hinderance with this new Player Profile change.
As a Squadron Commander I have to deal with the new applications, as do some of my Officers at times. And one of the key things we look at with new applicants is their recent activity, i.e. the “Last 30 Days” . . . which we cannot even see now, so . . . we have to go totally blind in that regard now and it’s just terrible bad to have something so simple and readily available to just disappear.
I have yet to see a single player say they like the change and being is there is absolutely no good reason to make this change, it doesn’t seem that they even considered the players feelings towards such a move and just did it.
Very disappointing . . .
I know that Gaijin isn’t in America but, they should start thinking straight and let the players vote for what vehicle they should add.
