I agree that the modern guided missiles have no place up against WWII torpedo bombers. I would rather not lose the Cold War Missile boats and ships but I would like Gaijin to realize that these need a very much higher BR than what they are willing to grant. Okay, a guided missile destroyer or guided missile patrol boat doesn’t have a chance against a battleship. It never did. Trying to force them down so they aren’t decimated by battleships and heavy cruisers. However, they basicly eliminate the possibility of aircraft engaging warships and that is even farther off the mark.

I disagree. Someone definitely need to lose their job over this crap. If no one loses their job, the admins will continue and escalate their destruction of the game with no penalties whatsoever. What’s worse is it will drive more veterans away from the game, Gaijin’s profits will drop and they will start laying off the new guys who had nothing to do with the horrifying projects they implemented. No, the person(s) responsible for this action need to be fired so they will recognize there are consequences for bad behavior, like ignoring the player base!

Are these two things actually related? Does anyone actually check other peoples’ stats in the middle of a match?
Yeah.
Useful in ARB when it’s only 4vs4 or so to make target prioritization easier.
Also useful in Air sim EC to try and asses if a lobby you joined is mostly zombers or a fun one.
I also liked checking stats of people I had repeat fights with in ASB to see how much they flew the plane in question. Did I win that duel because they didn’t know how to use their plane, or am I improving (however slightly)?

Sure, sometimes my own stats to see what my winrate is looking like, sometimes I feel like I have won or lost a lot in a vehicle so I check to see what the numbers are, or check my earnings relative to other vehicles.
For other players just to get an idea of their experience… see if their top player is really good and has a ton of experience or just got lucky and racked up a few kills, see if they bought their way to the top or not…
One way or another every air game is a lot of time doing literally nothing, and especially as they are trying to further develop the player cards in order to monetize it, it would make sense if they are actually not more dangerous to view during a match.

I want the old profile back, it is just objectively better. The new one has excessive amounts of wasted space, and the style just doesnt remotely match the rest of the game; it feels cheap.

You can forget about it.
The player profile has simply become a dumpster for premium content.
The only thing that can save us is the ability to modify the game interface as is the case with the hangar.

It didn’t need to be changed to begin with. Somewhat ridiculous considering the many things that do need changing. This was a complete waste of time and resources imo.

The long wait is really hard to bear. I hope that the next version will give players the function of displaying customized medals.
