The fact that it has no rank 1, rank 2, rank 3.
The original copy-paste tree was China.
If it had those early ranks in ground you would still complain at “copy paste”, despite Israel extensively modifying practically all platforms they owned….

Of course I would. Slight modification is still a copy-paste. It doesn’t have the unique flavour of the nation, it’s unique aesthetic.
Still the Israeli tech tree (which the Indian would be much alike) is even more of a joke than a copy-paste tree like China because it lacks the ranks all other trees have.
So you believe modifications are copy-and-paste.
You do know that makes over 80% of the US tree C&P right?

Yeah, but at least they’re in that tree. And keep the unique flavour of the American tree.
(i’m not fine with that either, should be all foldered based on the extent of the modification).
Spilling in other nations infect those nations’ aesthetics with their own. All becomes a soup… a bad one

Double standard.
A foreign modification can’t be C&P if the local one isn’t.
So as long as the British modification of a Sherman Firefly is C&P the Jumbo will be C&P too.
So pick one “All modification are C&P” or “All modification are not C&P”
Cherry picking nation by nation is not allowed.

I don’t see wherein the issue lies to put a large group or these extensively differently performing vehicles under the same flag if they all come from the same country anyways…
Swedish ground stuff is largely based on foreign platforms yet is so different from their original product that it is practically a completely new thing incomparable to what it was based on. The same goes for these Indian examples.
Just toss them together if they are plentiful enough, which the Indian things are…

BUT I’D rather be contained in the tree of the nation that made the original vehicle, than spill everywhere.
Well that not how this game works the trees represent the military of those nations not who made it

Consider the following: the modification is made by the host nation. The new variant, the new vehicle is local.
Also consider the following: license production. Then what? Your argument falls apart.

Sweden has it’s unique aesthetic until about Strv 74 (that’s exactly where I stopped).
You know why I don’t go further? Copy-paste. Bleh, not gonna play. Sure it has some of its own atgm thingies, but not gonna bother dipping my toes into the copy-paste ranks just for those.
Not how it started. Otherwise we’d had t-34 in german tree and M4 in soviet one and so on (sherman was the single one I think and the planes were premiums). We didn’t had a copy-paste soup when we had 4 ground trees.
