Holiday season typically has more stuff put into the game, Updates might
be smaller sometimes, but between that, the sales, events and everything
else they add in . . . can be quite a bit usually.
This year seems to be no exception so far . . . but I think . . .
it’s a good thing(even if most of it is all geared towards high tier and ignores
80% of the game, we all know where Gaijin’s priorities have shifted over the
past few years . . . . it is what it is) . . . no biggie

Does this mean that the Scimitar Mk.2 will be able to fire with its “FCS” disabled?

Nice to finally see these two as mechanics in the game.

However will it be all tanks that have an APU in real life that will get it, or will it only be specific tanks to start of with?

Haaang on… if we can get manual operation of electronic systems… then suuuurely we can manually disable the ‘safety feature’ that turns leopard 2s into a glorified casemate.

Riiiiiiight???

When can we expect more updates towards… low tier vehicles ?

SAV bros we are so back

Would be great if they made tanks feel a little beafier with better internal armor. Then clipping modules would matter and allow for positioning.

I don’t trust them to do it right though

They made the Merkava’s modules so weak that you can put a HEAT-FS straight through the Siman 4’s lower plate and it’ll kill.

Manual loader tanks: After placing them in a crew slot, you have to spend millions of SL to upgrade them to Expert, and then either farm millions of RP or drop GE to upgrade them to Ace just to reach the maximum reload speed shown in the catalog. On top of that, if your crew gets reduced to two members, your reload time literally doubles.

Autoloader tanks: You get the maximum reload speed listed in the catalog right out of the box—no Expert or Ace required. Even if your crew is reduced to two members, the reload speed doesn’t change at all.

Autoloaders at least used to have the drawback of being unable to reload if the autoloader mechanism was destroyed, but now even that disadvantage is gone.

So who in their right mind would use a manual loader tank now?

Sadists who enjoy spending way more resources than autoloader users, only to watch all that investment become completely useless the moment their crew drops to two?

Please wake up. This is a game, not a military simulation for defense contractors.

Gaijin is speedrunning total NATO tank torture

Also not only will the poor merkava get EVEN worse after this change, but its components are fictional and fucking huge, literal nerf marathon for the poor mk4

The drawback is a ~30 second reload, slower than a KV-2

I’m loving all the news, but this, specifically, is a great thing!

At last, TECHNOLOGY begins being modelled, giving advantages to the more advanced tanks so they feel, indeed, more advanced!

YESSS!

These changes remind me of that video from Gabe Newell on “things being realistic”.
