In-game, the rate of fire for the 14-inch gun is currently set to 1.5 rounds per minute; NavWeaps and other authoritative sources are all pointing at 1.75.

It has been reported, Gaijin considers it a balancing factor and is not going to change it at this time.

Yeah, but now its complete and utter nonsense. Mutsu can have its best reload of 24 seconds while Gaijin bends over backwards to give all the US Standards almost unusable 40 second reload times. Despite sources for the Nevada and up with 34 second reload times.
At this point, ‘balancing factor’ is not what we see here. Just outright apathy.

I neither agree nor disagree with you as I haven’t played either ship very much. I’m just pointing out that Gaijin has made their position clear on the NM’s reload.
