New Gunfire Sounds for Ho-103 machine gun
Summary
Currently, the gunfire sound for the Ho-103 in WarThunder is reused from the M2 Browning. This suggestion is to change that and set a sound specifically for the Ho-103.
Since the Ho-103 is installed in many IJA aircraft, I believe that changing its sound effect will have a significant impact and lead to a better gaming experience.

Sound
There are at least two requirements that the sound of the new Ho-103 must meet.
- The firing rate must be 900 BPM
(to match the gun’s 900 rpm)
900 BPM Metronome - Orchestra Central - The sound quality and volume must be appropriate for a 12.7mm caliber weapon

To get an idea of the sound quality, I searched for footage of the Ho-103 that is still capable of firing, but I couldn’t find any on YouTube.
One video that might contain the firing sound of the Ho-103 is Lt. Colonel Kato’s Hayabusa Air Squadron (1944). This film was produced with the cooperation of the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) and features a genuine Ki-43.The gunfire sounds may have been added later, but it’s also possible that the firing sounds from the Ho-103 were used.
Alternatively, you might want to use the firing sound of an M2 or M3 Browning firing at around 900 rpm as a reference. Since the Ho-103 is a machine gun modeled after the M2 Browning, its operating sound may be similar.
