Theres only 1 toptier WW2 German Battleship currently.
Because ships require a vast amount of resources, money, and time to make.
If they limited ships to the same rules as tanks/jets, naval would be pretty bare in places.

have you ever tried to accurately 3D model something, its extremely difficult. And finding the statistics for vehicles is challenging too, having to filter through many conflicting sources to figure out which is correct
The rules for ships are different, and a main reason for that is the majority of trees would be unable to proceed past interwar-style battleships and the like. The majority of naval trees would not be able to compete at all with the American and Japanese navies due to their size and scale, nor compete with their gun calibers. There would not be a Soviet naval tree that goes past light-ish cruisers and dreadnaughts either. Germany, would be over at the Bismarck, a 15in gun ship. England is similarly done with the Vanguard, another 15in ship. France with whatever they have with the Richelieu and Italy with the upcoming Roma (which is either a 14 or 15in ship, I cannot remember exactly). It is not condusive to good gameplay and balance to have most trees capped off 3/4’s of the way through 2 other trees.
This is making no sense, they never bought the 283mm guns and the Gneisenau is getting 380s in game.
she shouldnt and both should be getting the same guns as the tech tree the i think 12inch of kronshdhat and 283mms for germans

Probably because there wasnt an alternative variant to add. Im not well versed with German ships but I doubt there was many alternatives to just adding a straight second version of the same ship as a premium if they wanted a premium german heavy cruiser with a reasonable loadout of 8" guns.
But in most other areas we’ve seen them add alternative variants to the TT and event/premium, such as HMS Renown vs HMS Repulse and HMS Barham vs HMS Warspite and HMS Belfast vs HMS Southampton vs HMS Liverpool

it wouldnt have 15inch cause Russia never got them “paper vehicles have no place in warthunder” especially considering there better than the techtrees

Well, they had them briefly on HMS Royal Soverign before letting them rust completely to the point of being scrap
yeah but those where british not german
IMO, since it was in the process and the guns were built (although not fitted) I’m alright with it being added.
The price tag on the other hand…

It has nothing to do with the camo the camo/OPFOR skin is correct. They listed it as the M1 KVT but the M1 KVT is an A1 variant meaning the tank should have the M256 cannon not the M68. They put a fake tank in the game when the real tank could have been added. If they wanted a M1 there were plenty of other options.
Buddy, there’s thousands of vehicles in WarThunder. The sad unpaid interns who live in Gajin’s basement are bound to mess up a vehicle name at some point.

Q: Designing a ship (not a boat) is a very serious matter, it cannot be seriously redesigned if mistakes come up when it’s already been built. That’s why everything is calculated in advance, and in truth, a ship is born long before it reaches the shipyard, it’s born in the final construction blueprints. Will navy branches include projects that were never realized in metal, but existed only in blueprints, not to mention those that never got past the stocks?
A: Yes, we’re not ruling that out, especially with regard to projects that were completely ready, but whose construction was never finished for one reason or another.
