New Effects & Detailed Cockpits Coming in Tusk Force!

Not really. Smt like renderdistance should be the same for everyone yes. Thats why ulq is debated aswell. But stuff like texture quality, framerate or resolution has a ignorable small inpact on player performance, especially in wt that is not a fps.

Framerate and refresh rates definitely have a big impact on player performance.
Me playing on some crappy system with a crappy display on 40 FPS would definitely make me perform worse than if I was playing on some high end system that can easily push 150-200 FPS.

Headphones are also important, as the difference between some cheap crap vs high tier ones is very noticeable when it comes to hearing stuff in the game.

sorry but theres enough people that claimed that and enough people that disproven this already.

Like i said, a ignorable inpact, especially in a non FPS game.

Renderdistance though, or having an autoaim, thats a different cup of tea.

It isn’t an exploit if it is on purpose put into the game and made available for all to use by clicking a button.

Because those aren’t intended mechanics or intended ways to use a specific mechanic.

Console auto aim is, again, something intended that is put there on purpose to be used for that purpose and thus not an exploit.

If the developers put it in the game to be used that way it’s not an exploit. if the developers didn’t put it in the game and players find a way to do something anyway by circumventing the programming or using a mechanic in a way the developers didn’t intend for it to be used then it’s likely an exploit.

It’s a setting available for everyone, if you think it gives an advantage then you are free to use it. It also only effects grass and at very long distances some smaller trees.

Disproven what and by who ?
That playing on 40 FPS is as good as playing on 240 FPS/Hz with a great display ?

Any game with mouse aim where you need to hit specific weakpoints as quickly as possible benefit from all of this.

Render distance is a slider everyone can fiddle with.
Making your gaming setup better by just moving a slider isn’t a possibility though.

First of all ULQ is on a other level then just changing the render distance and second of all it should not be possible at all, as that has insane impact on how the Map works for you and gives you an unfair advantage over everyone else that dosnt use ULQ or low render distance, i think console cant even use ULQ so…

Theres enough people that looked after what higher framerates will do for you, just google it and you will get like 100.000 results about it, how little the impact is, especially in a non FPS game as i saied three times now.

You can use ULQ as well, I don’t think anyone is stopping you.
That’s like you want to play on a controller and then get upset at anyone using keyboard and mouse, as they might get the advantage you yourself can as well. ULQ is a way to allow people to hit competitive framerates more easily.

I don’t think my Google works in the same way as yours.
If you claim that high framerates and refresh rates don’t matter, then it’s even easier to lock the game to run at 60 FPS and 60Hz at 1080p all the time with only one set of settings available, as it’s apparently not an issue that isn’t letting people have an unfair advantage.

This is absolutely true. To understand how big the difference is, after playing on your 144 Hz monitor, set a lock at 60 FPS.

Other than war thunder i mostly game on a nintendo switch so im still familliar with 60hz, especially as basically nothing has come out to do 120 hz on the switch 2

I very much see the difference however its not a dealbreaker difference. especially when you stop looking for individual frames, you wont even notice

I’m not sure I understood — what device do you play War Thunder on, and what are its specs?

Great, another one that’s fine with locking the game at 60 FPS and one set of settings as it apparently doesn’t matter enough.

I just tried 60/60 gaming and I’m really glad my eyes aren’t subject to this blurry/choppy mess anymore. At this point game almost felt like it lags.

It might not be against the letter of the rules, nor is it technically cheating, but advantage it gives is pretty huge.

I feel like im being punished for wanting the game to look good.
