Nerf Japanese planes

I have done so plenty already. Both with and Against Zeroes. The same argument can absolutely be said when facing YAK’s at low altitude, those planes are crazy close to the ground for instance. or against the Hellcats or XP-50 at high alt.

However playing to the opponents strength does not make the plane Overpowered.

what i’m saying is that japanase planes are not op, they’re rather the opposite. Either gun boats or monsters of the past that are no longer good because of the super prop spam.

long term japan prop main here. I’ve sweated my brlood past the j2m2. Ki84s are a blast but everything else is just boogazooga. Ki83 bamboozles you with those 46m/s climb rate that mean nothing when a p51h can 180 on you and cut your plane in half with a single 50 cal. J5N1 is insufferable.

Yeah but you will cook your engine after 15 seconds of WEP and then its not even able to cool 100% throtle

i’ve never overheated my engines on the ki83 after using pitch to 93 percent and radiators to 40 percent. And that was like since the 4th time i flew it.

Well ok with MEC it is possible

Brother pretty much anything japanese that flies is already overtiered to hell… go watch some DEFYN and learn to play before making japanese aircraft have literally ZERO advantages over their opponents

People keep turnfighting Zeros, sounds like they are the ones who need to git gud.

The J5N is a bnz for higher altitudes although you are honestly better off using her in Ground RB. Don’t quote me on this, you are more qualified in this case since I do not have her as of yet.

Except the A6M2-N. Pop the center floaty off and if you want the wing floaties as well and its a 3.7 A6M2 at 2.3 or lower.

Japanese turnfighters (before anyone mentions the J2m2, that’s not a turnfighter.) have been repeatedly nerfed to the point that their engine power is horrendous on the majority of them, a zero at 5.0 is laughable as any energy fighter should realistically never die to them should they do anything that isn’t turn with them.

If anything JP planes need their old BRs back, this is a perfect example of why the game shouldn’t be balanced around the skill of the average player.

Yeah, really difficult to deal with when I was flying the Bf 109 E-1. I most of the time had to run and couldn’t help my team. In the end I used up all my fuel and had to RTB and then the match was practically over.

how are you going to use the j5n1 for ground RB? the thing has no AP rounds and flies horribly slow at low altitude, besides the fact it’s not even good above 6km of altitude. J5N1 is NOT a BnZ fighter, it’s a failed abortion whose only advantage is the amazing low speed handling close to that of 109’s.

It’s still slower than a regular A6M2, but it’s really funny to do because two 20s and good turn at 2.3 is hilarious. Absolutely filthy though.

In an E-1 I’d put it into a shallow dive to get the Zero to waste his energy and then try to get the help of my team. If he turns around and you get guns on him, just get in range and spray since any damage is gonna reduce his energy retention significantly.

When you destroy the floaties it is on part with the A6M2. But clearly, you didn’t read nor understand that the center pontoon is the only one adequately modeled to effect weight. The other 2 make no difference.

At sea level, A6M2-N does 436kph with floats ripped off, A6M2 Mod11 does 450kph. It’s slower.

That’s just because of the provisions that are still there, it doesn’t wipe it 100% clean, you are correct, but in the case of you ripping the float off AND it’s racks it would likely be the same speed

Please refrain from using “Jap”. Japanese people recognize that word as a discriminatory term.
