Id like to see sweden fully turned into a nordic tree, especially since Norway uses so many versions of the 9030 and have a few aircraft and other ground forces to add. Naval maybe im not well versed in their navy.
Though id really like it if gaijin were to implement the sub tree addition someone has suggested essentially meaning you could have multiple full nations in one nation. As we move forward i feel that will be the only way to keep the game going.

Yes, Norway used and uses many CV90 variants, both IFV’s and for other purposes like mine clearing, trnasport, mortar etc. Also the first export customer of the cv90, and more or less the reason for the 30mm variants.
Norway has quite a bit of each branch, exept helicopters, never had anything other than the bell 412 etc. And if all Norwegian vehicles were to be added to the Swedish tree, considering the current problem where it is not possible to have more than 5 lines per techtree it would be pretty boring, with only a couple vehicles and all the interesting or special ones left out. because even with only the most “famous” vehicles added a whole bunch would be left behind, and that is lost potential.
With Norway and Denmark combined, there is enough vehciles to form a new techtree with Ground, Naval coastal, naval bluewater and Air. We have both modified, self built vehicles and its share of unmodified one like every nation has, but over half of them are modifed or self built.
These Nations strongest point are the Naval part. A lot of the vessels were self built and designed, for both nations. So there it will be a lot of interesting vehicles from all the time periods. There would be a Bluewater too, wich proably would be around 40-50 vehicles and go up to 5.0 in BR.
Subtrees are good, but only if it is separate lines and there is actually included some vehicles, i have to say some subtrees have been very dissapointing when introduced (a lot left out). and at that point, if both Norway, Denmark and eventually a couple vessels from Iceland, the tree should not be named Sweden anymore,
Adding new techtrees, does still add a lot of content. New premiums, events, decals, battlepasses, and you have a choice wether to or not to grind the vehicles (harder if it is in a subtree). in my opinion it would just make it better. and there are quite a few options to choose from, canada, tjekkoslovakia, arab, latin american, korea etc
Only problem i see with a combined DK and Nor TT would be the lack of vehicles and what sub nations could they get to fill them? Id like to see every nation get fully represented but i feel adding a TT with a lot of holes could be more frustrating than fun imo.
I don’t think the amount of vehicles is a problem, it would be around the size of israel, china and italy as we have them now.
As currently, Norway is the country with the most vehicles of these 3 nations, it would proably be the “main country” with Denmark as some sort of major subtree, then the vehicles from Iceland and maybe Faroese if they have any.
I have done research, and i have found a lot of stuff so here is the numbers i have on the trees, havent updated it in a while tough, so it has changed a little bit.
Ground: 111x
Air: 95x
Naval Bluewater: 54x
Naval Coastal 220x
Helicopters: 1-3x
Submarines: 30x more or less
i think it is fully possible to do something about the gaps, there is always a way
The problem is the community, a large portion has a great disdain for C&P and another nation having gaps filled with questionable vehicles causes more infighting especially when it comes to trial vehicles. Something i could see with vehicles like the leopards, K2 and ASCOD just to name a few.
I cant see the majority of people being happy with Norway and DK being their own tree mainly because of a lot of animosity surrounding the curret nordic tree.

I have just discovered leads on another vehicle, another truck with a 37mm revolvercannon. This was after talking to a man who has worked for years saving this history. I have not been allowed to share any information yet, but i now know there exist a image of two trucks mounted each their revolvercannon, wich is gold. time will show what happens, but i will have to meet up with him to discover more. Just tought it could be interesting to hear :)
and if i have understood correctly, there might be 2 more

UPDATE
-Techtree reworked, this time compared as well as i could with in-game vehicles
-Discovered and added some exact configurations to the German Panzers Norway put in use in 1945
-Discovered and added 2 more chevrolet cannon truck variants
-Removed some CV90’s now each has notible changes
-Tried to keep the techtree as unique as possible and not that many premiums this time
-Added a new ifv to rank8
-Removed DAF-2 pounder (No evidence it was used)
I hope this change was for the better, i will update this more times when i have researched some more vehicles, stay tuned!

LARGE UPDATE!
-The tree will be updated more times, and some vehicles will be removed and some new will be added.
-Note that this is to show potential, if the tree would be implemented, it would be different.
INTRODUCTION TO THE UPDATE
This is not about having the most vehicles in the techtree, this is to show the potential to the tree and if this were to be introduced, it would be added in a smaller scale to begin with. Ive been working a long time to find all these new vehicles and its variants, and there are many yet to be discovered, and some are even in development. I hope this update gives you another better view over the idea of a Norwegian and Danish techtree.
CHANGES TO THE LAYOUT
A 5th line has been added to the tree, now the two first lines are primarily for Light tanks, and the 3rd and 4th line are for Medium tanks and Tank destroyers with the 5th line reserved for anti air vehicles. This was done to both improve the layout and to make space for the light tanks from rank 5 and above.
THE VEHICLES
What i have done in this update, has been to remove the vehicles that doesn’t have enough firepower to be used properly or that has mechanics that don’t fit in the game. I have also tried to compare the vehicles better with those added in-game already and changed the tree for every update. The vehicles i have been adding now, are everything from modified, self developed or partially developed like those vehicles from Kongsberg D&A that has our domestically developed turrets and weaponstations, and other vehicles such as the improvised vehicles from the invasion in 1940 and various prototypes. Trialed vehicles has also been added, with some being event vehicles and some implemented in the techtree.

Why are the Leopard 2A5s at 10.7 and 11.0 lol?
Upgraded, armor etc, might not be enough to justify 0.3 increase in br tough but that was the tought when choosing the br
But the 2A5 is at 12.0 in-game?

All the fantasy paper vehicles should be renoved like the 2a7nos and the k2 black panthers panthers.
They dont belong in the tree either because they never existed or proven to be mock ups mostly.
As long as half the top tier is made up out of dantasy things uts a giant joke to be added

There are no “fantasy” vehicles in this tree, here are vehicles that has been in service of the militaries of these nations, various prototypes, and some trialed vehicles, both with changes and not :)

Is the NDI a real life Co-alition?
david bowie himself destroyed your whole proposal for the K2s that most you are claiming is completly fabricated and none of your claims is true. ALL only mock ups on them no APS system on them ever existed.
The 2a7NO and 2a7(N) was never built either, its just a german leopard 2a7v that was send over there for testing, you are yet to prove that anything was done to them.
Generaly that you are clinging to so many “trialed” vehicles that mostly dont even exist in real life is abhorrent

Nah, not really, but they aure do have a lot of history together, in my opinion much longer than with Sweden. The Danish/Norwegian union that lasted over 430 years and before that

In terms of military the NDI isn’t a real thing as far as i’m aware, military colabs in the nordic countries would be NORDEFCO which includes all 5 nordic countries
NDI is just a shoetage i came up with haha, easier than saying “Norway, Denmark, Iceland”
