Pretty sure the 9040B we tested was the command version with the Lemur sight. So technically it would be slightly different from the version in game. Think the sight from the 9040A BILL II, its a pretty good option for peaking imo since it has thermals.
Edit: had to go back and check, it wasnt a command model so ignore above.
I am not 100% certain about that. But i know it was leased by the Danish army in 2001/2 and tested, in relation to plans of upgrading the old M/92’s
I can probably contact Arselalen lr Pansermuseet, considering this is 100% more documented than most of the other vehicles, considering it was leased, not just lended, upon further tought, it could probably be added in the researchable branches
Contacted arsenalen before, in relation to the Stridsvagn s being tested by Norway, very helpful
Trialed CV9040B, has among other things a Danish pennant painted on the sides
Yeah i had to double check but i couldn’t find info of it having the added Lemur sight, would’ve bee a neat thing sincw its a small modification that helps with peaking but oh well. Could makw for an interesting decal if the snail ever re adds monthly decals
I discovered an handfull of vehicles that has either been used or trialed by any of these three nations, keep in mind that i am adding these to show the potential of the tree. Some vehicles would probably be excluded or added at later points if it ever were to be added :)
All I have to say is that I would love to see this implemented, I was searching the swedish tree for quite awhile for Norwegian tanks, and i couldn’t find any i would want to pay for, but if there was a Norway tree I would probably buy some tanks, and Iceland in it is such a unique idea. If this was put in game i know plenty of people who would join just for it.
Well, since you didn’t respond to my other question I’ll just drop what I have now. Most of this is courtesy of a source some guy on Discord sent to me so credit to him
While I don’t have much in the way of actual information, this official Kongsberg chart seems to suggest that two prototypes were built, one in 2009 and another in 2012.
Danish halftrack with Madsen 20mm. The image looks like a drawing, but there are many other images in this text that are real photos, so I suspect this one is as well.
i have been very busy, so i haven’t had time to respond :)
yes, it is valid for both nations
that’s some awesome images, haven’t seen those before, i’ll do some research, i have some places i can ask if someone knows anything. that 2009 one is probably Kongsberg testing their turrets at their shooting range, as they only started making medium caliber turrets in 2009, they only did weapon stations before 2009
i don’t think the picture/drawing is a Danish vehicle, could be just an illustration or a vehicle from another nation, the closest danish vehicle to this is the ford model aa with a madsen 20mm cannon, at first i tought this was a Triangel L 3.5 halftrack wich probably is the vehicle in the image, but proved itself to be a ford model aa. there are definelty some variants that haven’t been found
