I might try again then, gave up after a 30 minute queue previously.
Yesterday I had a spare booster (300% rp) and decided to use it in Naval to spade out another mod of my Yorck battlecruiser.
I pressed the play button and waaaaiiiited a long time before I finally got into a match. It was a 3 cap map. Our team quickly seized two caps, one player spawned this japanese reserve torpedo-like boat to blitz two caps.
Enemy team decided to not spawn a speed boat and so the match just blinked down. I managed to get 2 kills. And was top killer with it^^ Some players got 1 kill, most even 0. Then the match ended. Even with 300 rp booster it was barely profitable (time vs. progress).
Its a waste of time. Why just can’t they at least reduce the ticket loss?
I would love that if gaijin will add naval to my main nation
I like naval battles, and I’ve played them sometimes out of necessity. But I’m tempted to think Gaijin doesn’t add modern ships because there’s already Modern Warships for that.

it good but it boring when you play with AI
This has to be bait.
Naval is just an abanoaded game mode with not many fun factor, there are a few tryhards whos know exactly where to shoot and yeah your cooked, and overall it’s even more boring to sail with 20km/h just to get ammo racked from the other side of the map, in my opinion low br air rb even more interesting than naval.
I had to admit the little boat vessel game mode is fun cuz there are like 3-4 real players on both side and around 15-18 bots so it’s fun to destroy bots and get like 15-30k damage / round for farm out the naval badges but that’s all.
This is largely why I dont find GRB fun :D

There are many people who are just fine with Naval and do not see it as broken at all.
Considering the situation in naval is dire enough that half of every match is bots I don’t think “many” is appropriate. Imagine if this was the case in any other game mode.
Sure it’s not as popular as other modes - lots of things are less popular than other things and still have many people doing/enjoying/playing/whatever.
Naval has always been less popular as a wargame mode than land and air - shrug - so what? The people who enjoy it still enjoy it regardless of that.
Others whine about it without making a skerrick of difference.
Many is a perfectly adequate adjective.
