Palau Islands seems to be designed as a mid to close quarters brawling map with all of the routes into and around B.
A solution to fix this map and make it more fun is to set team spawns to east and west with one in one corner and the opposing team’s in the opposite (IE team A gets a northwest spawn, team B gets a southeast spawn).
With some minor adjustments to terrain, it’d be perfect for exactly this type of play.
Yes because Japanese coastal boats are notoriously competitive against pr206s and their like.
If I wanted to play coastal I’d play coastal, not go to the top tier region to end a match before anyone gets the chance to actually play the ships they spawned it or expect people to J out at the beginning and waste one of three spawns and eat a massive repair bill.
Every match ended by a single boat is a complete waste of time for everyone on both teams and results in non-existent SL and RP for a mode that has long queue times to find matches to begin with.
Cap zones are fine for pt boats but at br 5.0+ they need to eliminate pt and planes being able to cap, it’s completely ridiculous that players can’t enjoy playing a bluewater ship without the game being cut short by some clown in a pt boat or plane getting all the caps when the bluewater ship has ZERO chance to counter.
