The same two issues from the CLAWS have been sitting as “accepted” for six months now:

Even with the reports I made, gaijin still treats the thing like a basic mechanical radar for some reason.
The NASAMS 3 does not use the AN/MPQ-64 radar,but at least the AN/MPQ-64F1 which has a faster scan rate and better acquisition of supersonic and/or low flying stuff such as helicopters,UAVs and cruise missiles. The NASAMS 3 has a better version of the F1 so it should even be faster.
Not only that,the NASAMS 2 brings the Data Link 16 update that massively raises the DL strength of the vehicle making it possible to track munitions very well.
Finally, the NASAMS 3 should also receive the electro-optical update that gives it the ability to passively launch missiles by giving it a pseudo IRST that both the AMRAAM-ER and the 9X can slave into
“not a bug”
Oddly enough the AN/MPQ-64 thread has some citations that I grabbed about the F1 in particular, its pretty much the best 64 beyond the V3 at this time too.
Tbh though the CLAWs should be using the V3 and the NASAMS should have the F1, its very odd that gaijin chose to give it still the baseline, or whatever abomination they seemingly made instead of the actual recent versions of the system.

Or just fix the basic sentinel radar that claws uses in general

Totally not surprised, the techmods beyond the scant few that actually talk on the forums might as well be single celled organisms.
You lucked out and got one of the many bad ones, imo, DM gunjob or one of the present, competent TMs on here and provide your information from here and then make the report.
Should have also added that mobile radar unit from the Konigsberg website since its the literal exact vehicle. Emphasize the fact that the F1 has that small panel up top which is indicative of the F1 as it is only present on the F1 and the original AN/TPQ-36A it seems, and the latter was only ever used with the original NASAMS.
Here is another Konigsberg source stating the F1 is used.

Should also be able to report the fact that its missing the EO guidance unit as well.

Hey everyone, Just a small but important correction for anyone suggesting or discussing the American NASAMS 3 in-game (or future US ground forces tree):The US Army / USMC version of NASAMS 3 does not use the European-style Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon (G 290/G 300) as the high-mobility launcher platform that you commonly see with Norway, Netherlands, Lithuania, etc.Instead, the United States uses a dedicated HMMWV-based launcher developed by Raytheon/Kongsberg:
Current in-game NASAMS (Norwegian version) correctly uses the G-Wagon, but if Gaijin ever adds the US NASAMS 3 battery, the proper high-mobility launcher should be the Humvee-based HML, not the Mercedes.
Yep, issue would be that I doubt gaijin has any interest in spinning up some separate models for the US version right now.
For now, I’d say we should get the European version sorted first since thats what gaijin has already made.
I’d love for the US version to actually use it’s proper vees as the humvee is fun to drive in game.
The HMMWV cant carry AMRAAM-ER as its too heavy for it, and everything else you just listed is already ingame in form of CLAWS lol
