Currently, the MIG-23MLD and MLA’s napalm is ranked 4th, which is too harsh when compared to other countries. I hope that the MIG-23’s napalm will be re-ranked to 1st place.
Since napalm is mostly used for stock grinding, I don’t think there will be any balance issues.
Well… I think his point is partially right because it seems the majority of stock jets are having napalm in the low tier in their modification tree.
(For example, I got my napalm on Kurnass in tier 1 M117 modification)
So if we only consider modification trees of fighter jets nearby, it will be completely fine to place their napalm into the lower tier to make them similar to other fighter jets.
No one cares about Tonka, and there are tons of premium MiG-23ML in existence, so nothing will get worse even if MLD and MLD get ZB-500 napalm faster in the earlier tier.
:(
That’s too harsh for a stock aircraft. For example, the F-4E is very hard to get out of stock without napalm, as it only has two useless AIM-9Es to begin with.
Of course, bombing of fighter might make the game less fun. However, if napalm is nerfed, we’ll need another alternative for stock aircrafts.
Well you’re not wrong, but when a the team consist of 15 base bombers and You (just for an example), 9 times out of 10, the game end with a loss for your team. Also that mentality is filling top-tier with people that dont know how to use they’re end of the line jets a.k.a. bad games and a “questionable” takes in the forum/reddit like “F5C not good for dogfight”, “R60 unflareble” /yes I saw such post here in the forum/ or “give X (muRcan) jet AIM-9X, because it suffers” and many others…
I agree that the grind is extremely bad (more for some planes, less for others), but bombing bases>die>repeat is a “fix” that bring many negatives in the long run…
But the overall better option is improving A2A rewards rather than punishing the ground attackers that already get punished to hell and there is no reason why a mud mover shouldnt be a viable aircraft in all air modes.
The tricky bit comes from fighters being used as mud movers. but like I said, improving the rewards for A2A without punishing A2G would probably be better.
I dont want punishment for the ground attackers, they’re allready in a bad state… the nerf/retuning is needed for the fighter-jets such as MiG-23/F-104/F-4S/F-5C/F-1C 200 and others.
I’m not against dedicated attackers, doing A2G and being rewarded, but that need rework of the entire ARB (and to some exted ASB).
The problem are fighter/intercepter doing the A2G in the current ARB/ASB modes (unfortunetly more effectivly then the attackers) and getting better rewarded then people doing A2A kills.
