Namer armor

I don’t believe this related to the namer variants we have ingame, only the APC variants. Just saying “I believe it should have this engine” isn’t enough for gaijin. Unless you submitted hidden sources I can’t see, then sadly this isn’t a viable bug report.

To be precise, the game already has at least one APC version of Namer, but it uses a remote control weapon station called RCWS30.
Moreover, there is still no Namer-IFV in service in IDF because they are still being tested. According to DSCA documents, the purpose of purchasing engines is to upgrade the Namer-APC, which has been in service since 2008. Obviously, Israelis know that Namer’s mobility is not very good, and Namer-IFV is modified from Namer-APC, so it is not difficult to achieve that the IFV version will use a better engine.

Again there is no direct proof this engine was ever installed on the Namer-IFV Testbed we have ingame. Unless you can prove otherwise, gaijin won’t accept your report. You say the engine was purchased in 2019 yes, is there any direct proof of the exact model of Namer-APC is was sourced from and if that Namer even underwent any engine transplant? If you can’t find info suggesting this, I don’t think we can expect any changes in the future.

Here to remind Gaijin these exist :)

It’s obviously hollow 😏

im not 100% sure what armor do they use if SLERA or NERA but the array seems to be made specifically to be in a sharp angle to use as much of the ERA effect as possible on incomming projectiles, aka its hollow

Should be thicker, knowing how Raphael’s armor patents work.

i eated it all

Would be cool to see close up pictures to see what It contains or how much of It Is ERA

The Namer in the back shows how much should be hollow and how much should be armor, it’s definitely much more substance than the actually hollow wedges on the front of a Leopard 2A5.

gaijin:
oh, a merkava without the turret but with the same weight?
Surely the armor is way worse and the mobility is nonexistent

Guys, you gotta understand that the Namer is 64 tons and the Merkava is 65, moreover common sense doesn’t exist in this game, let the Merkava’s turret weigh 1 ton (just the barrel weighs that but hey, not questioning) I’ve done my maths, if the turret of the Merkava is 1 ton and the weigh of the turret on other tanks is on average 25% of the entire tank, my super common sense mathematical mind tells me the tank weighs 4 tons, which would mean that the HP/T would be 375HP/T, so prepare to go mach jesus with this one. Apparently the armor on the Namer Tsrikhon is weighless too, as the turret doesn’t increase the weigh.

German L/44 weighs 3.5 tons alone lol

The IMI might weigh even more.

I read it did weighed more, but you know how Wikipedia works, some things are reliable and some ara blatant lies.

3.3 ton by wikipida, (probably not accurate)
and thats not even with the turret

Moreover, the mobility of the Namer is that of a truck, I once had to fight against a Leclerc and it was nightmarish, I like light tanks but damn, the Namer is difficult to play, and close quarters is suicidal unless you’re carrying Spikes on the Namer 30 (MK258s are nothing and you can’t ‘lead’ the spikes vertically on the Namer Tsrikhon)

I got penetrated a few times by 30mm APFSDS shells, right in this place where it should contain this huge armor part, which is completely missing in the game

The Namer size is HUGE it’s missing hundreds of millimeters of armor in the sides
(I would say 550mm-800mm)
