Namer armor

Indeed.

That photo shows the welded steel structure behind the armour blocks, which are missing in this case.

This other photo shows the actual thickness of the composite blocks and the gap between the outer armour and the hull.

lmao

Damn the 50mm of “composite screens” in the game might actually be angled ERA blocks that provide 400-500mm CE protection IRL

I pray that gaijin will eventually give some love to Israel someday :( so much evidence and sources proving their models wrong and they continue to stay silent. yet everyone is pushing the ideology that it’s because of current real-world events that they don’t push anything for Israel because they are afraid of the community being mad. but how can that make sense considering what Russia is doing to Ukraine

its been 5 months? and the aps on the mk4m and the namer aps is still not fixed

I got ignored by Smin :(, but yeah, from the short time I’ve played Israel, it doesn’t seem to be the best nation to play. APS is bad, SPAA is nonexistent (for now, I hope), armor is debatable and that’s it.

those arent boxes its a flat area with bolts so they can add the structure of the wedges, ik its supossed to be very thick RHA behind the wedges but its not armor, its not possible to fit unless they sacrifice the internal space, for reference the wedges start from the roadwheels to slightly further than the track

Sorry bro, but these are indeed boxes of air. inside the namer this is where the troops stash mags, AT rockets, and other equipment. outside of those is a different story that we do not fully know unfortunately. But inside, yep, boxes of air.

I didn’t refer to these boxes

I was talking about the armor blocks that look like boxes

When I said “boxes of air” I meant that the big armor blocks(probably made from RHA) on the sides are completely missing, I do know that the 2 boxes in the back are empty and they are being used to store different stuff

We can see here that the armor blocks’ width starts from the left side of the track, and goes 80-100mm further into the track so yea they are thick, completely missing in the game

I know what you refered to. These boxes have nothing behind them. I was in Namers half of my service. This is storage space for the troops

The wedges work in a similar fashion to leopard 2 wedges, they are supossed to disrupt the Shell trajectory to avoid pen or full pen i should have in my pc a picture of them in an angle where you can see inside and yeah they are thick but you can see a little empty space inside, when i get on ill post em

image
you mean like this wedge right?

image
isn’t that the inside of the Eitan? or it’s the Namer while still in factory? the roof is supposed to be thicker…

alright then, I don’t know how it is looking like/how thinks work there, I can only assume things based on images that I can find - thanks for the info tho I guess I learned something new about it

that’s the armor wedge that can be taken off, also i dont mean the boxes marked in orange i meant the generalized area located on the side of the tank right above the roadwheels

gaijin patented “air armor” looks like armor but its actually intangible, only in war thunder are modern protection like Slera, Nera and Composites just outright worse than simple heavy flier plate era
