Who thinks that the pakistani t-80UD/BE should be given Naiza apfds and moved up to 11.0 and that the Oplot-M should also get Naiza apfds.

Pakistan don’t even operate oplot why the hell bt A4 is already good enough and t80uf is perfect uptier will be a death sentence for it

Thought it’d be a little more realistic to give the oplot-m Naiza apfds than bta4 apfds even though they don’t use the oplot-m. I always hear people complaining about how the t-80ud/be doesn’t really have any line ups, so i just thought move it there, but give it better apfds.
I mean i understand it but sometimes it better to leave the vehicle where it is specially this t80 not having turbine but a diesel engine and that 4kmph reverse thermals I don’t remember but russian t80ud don’t have it I guess chinese/pak one does ? But either way 10.3 at 10.7 is best for this

The pakistani ones got upgraded with thermal when they bought them from ukraine. And i do see your point. It would kinda be a worse t-72b3.

But what do you think about the oplot-m getting them?
Gen 1 or gen 2 ? Either way that bad boy should stay were it is . Oplot is very trick because right now it is bad because of missing armour in the goddamn front plate only by 4 is good enough and it will be very unrealistic I mean this whole game but again not operating and the round compatibility depends on the gun and diff thing gaijin would never

both the pakistani Oplot and the T-80 are modelled wrong
Oplot-P straight up is just a standard Oplot-M and the T-80UD/BE is actually a T-80UD/DU-1 instead of a BE. BE has the T-84 turret which looks like the T-90A turret (its welded). oh and it has a better reverse transmission as well

Makes sense. I’m pretty sure that the first dozens of t-80ud were equipped with the regular cast turrets then switched over to the welded and that only about 2 of the welded ones were equipped with the 6td-2 engines and imported transmissions.
those are initial trial figures. if we look at the engine decks, most BE models seem to have the 6TD-II engines and transmissions same as AK-I

Less pen than the APFSDS the round currently has at 2000 according to what quickly I read about it.
The in-game one has 592mm of pen at 2000 meters [296/cos 60].
I heard claims of 550 for Naiza, which is more than 3BM42.

Makes sense. Maybe we should wait and just give it to the 2 other variant of the t-80ud pakistan has.

+1, though it should come with complete remodel and overhaul of both tanks.
I personally have really enjoyed the T-80UD/BE, I use it with the ZTZ96A (P) and they have been a great combination.
Even if this round would raise it’s BR, I still thing the T-80UD/BE deserves it and also it REALLY deserves a complete remodel with it’s welded hull.
As for the Oplot, it just needs to be remodeled into the Oplot-P.

They can just add the different variant of the t-80ud_be with the welded turret and do thhink they should remodeled the oplot-m to the oplot-p.
