NA server ping 999

What happened to NA server? I got ping 300+, even 999.
The high ping was not happened at beginning of the battle, it was 30 - 100 at first, then jump to 300 - 500 and sometime 999 in a few mins.
It happened in every battle these 2 days.
Im in Canada.
