NA-R OV-10D+ Bronco

+1 for USA and Israel.

Don’t know if this was posted, but it carried the AIM-9L/M in Desert Storm

I’ve heard enough, put this at 8.3 ARB

In the 90s, Colombia acquired 24 OV-10A Bronco that were later modernized to the OV-10D standard. They played a counterinsurgency role and are legendary in the FAC. They were retired until 2015. I would like to see them in the game in the Israeli TT withthe Colombian Skin.

no

the gunsight is manually operated
so the pilot sets it up according to the release charts and fires the rockets like that

like any other rocket armed plane without CCIP

I know, I have the SAC. I was asking them sarcastically if the AH-1 carries AIM-9D (the answer to that is no)

The USMC variants should be able to on the underwing stations.

not the helicopter, I made a typo meant the A1H “skyraider”

A Sky-raider was one of the test vehicles used for the “Heat Homing Rocket” / AIM-9A, so technically sort of, as i couldn’t say that it was entirely replaced before work began on the AIM-9C /-9D.

the one in game cant use it since its a specific one

Ov10 bronco could be added to Japan via Thailand now too if it is ever added

On that topic, would the OV-10A get access to CMs, or would that only be in the later Bronco models (such as OV-10D)?

It had some dispensers, and the same IR suppression and anti-lock systems. Not as much as the later models though.

Okay, cool
So, an OV-10A with like 9Ds or something would be okay in the 8.0-8.7 range, whereas the OV-10D with AIM-9L could be a bit higher

Yeah, I’m thinking like 9.7 or 9.3.

You are aware its not a jet right?

There are a multitude of harriers at 9.3 and 9.7 that have AIM-9D equivalents.

There is no reason for the bronco to be the same exact BR with 9D likes.

OV-10 with Hellfires is equivalent to a heli
