The newly added Cobra button is one of the best things ever added to this game…
Seriously, I have fun for hours, alone in training mode using the cobra button, this brings a new perspective to several vehicles, this mechanism is completely game chenger.
PLEASE ADD THIS TO MORE PLANES!!!

I don’t have access to the dev due to being on console however does the lady start yelling at you when you do it? I feel like it should for sim becuase that cobra button could be a death sentence if your not carful.

no Rita/Betty does not start screaming at you, but the Hornet does give you a continous tone for going above safe limits (7.5G+ + some degree of AoA)
the F-16s are probabally recieving this
the Tomcats should too (their controls have no Fly by wire to override and is manual to the pilot anyway)
EF Typhoon has MPO which you can override AoA Limits with it
Hopefully MiG-29 too, it can pull so much more AoA that the instructor hides from you

The new AoA limiter toggle is a very good addition but at the same time, I’m sad that I can’t flex my full controls mouse aim skill no more :(

Hopefully, it will stop people complaining that mig29s and flankers are nerfed and cant pull AoA,

tbf they were right in saying so, MiG-29 and Su-27 are famous for their nose pointing ability, without their AoA they haven’t really got that
I took the time to get used to switching to full real controls to access the AoA, but aiming guns was always a pig of a thing to do like that, now with this mode it should be a lot easier

Tbf they always had access to that. They just had to train a bit and make better control binds.

yeah, was also a shame that when in full real controls the HMD was a bit fucked up

Yeah you needed to switch back to mouse aim, fire your missile and the switch to regain full controls
to properly use HMD to lock after doing full control shenanigans
I haven’t had any issues with IR or radar slaving when in full real, do you use relative controls or the mouse-joystick?
i used mouse Joystick
the issue was when in full real,
if i look left toward me left wing, the HMD would point left of my nose relative to the Horison
of i looked upwards inside the cockpit, no matter my roll or pitch angle it would tether to the horison and would only go vertically relative to horison
the only time it worked properly was when your wings and nose were level with the horison

Don’t recall the exact control name, but the mouse acts like a joystick

Huh, I’ve never had that issue.
Ill try and get a clip of it to show it
Might go and make a bug report on it

the Missile aiming Circle is nowhere near the point of looking
(I am in Mouse Aim mode but Free look disables looking at it)
Can confirm on the Dev…this AoA limiter switch is an AWSOME add :) using it with the 30SM and F18 is never ending fun XD
