instead of showing who is radar locking you as it used to be now it just gives you the direction of the warning, i think it’s a bug, i checked the options and controls and found nothing, someone help me pls.
Judging by how jh7a became waves instead of ? I think this is reskin for question mark warning on rwr when aircraft couldnt recognize exact name of threat

Nope, probably the same bug as I have (RWRs stopped identifying contacts)
Me and other players figured out it mostly happens on minimal game client, so installing full client version should solve this issue, but if you are not able to install the full version - well you are stuck with thus bug untill devs notice, which imho will take decades.

No idea, I use regular game client so I haven’t seen the steam version.

Judging by my exp with av8b na in sim and f4e in nuclear thunder, it works as ? reskin on steam version. Su24m is designated as ATK on av8 but changes to waves on f4e.

These are old aircrafts with old RWRs, try to test flight top tier premium aircrafts like su39 f18 su30mk2, etc and check the results.

Night attack harrier isnt old aircraft. It does recognize vast majority of threats including modern ones. As I said before, I played sim battles and it recognizes almost everything besides rare stuff like jh7a, which used to be marked as ? and is marked as waves now.

Oh, i see, misunderstood for av-8a. Prior to nuclear thunder update OTOMATIC started identifying as a regular spaa like gepard or lvkv9040c, instead of a question mark sign as it always did. So there was some kind of change i guess
