Let me preface this by saying “I dont mind the apds belt being removed” after all i have literally penned the front of tiger 2 turrets with it albeit i aggree that is should go down to 8.0 without the apds belts.
However I am concerned about the addition of a radar in the future update as i quite honestly have no idea how this would even be implemented in a physical and historical sense which I will layout seperately below.

Physically
There is just simply no room to add a radar as it was never developed with any provision to do so. I will level with the argument that you could probably fit the marksman radar dish on the rear part of the roof but the dish/antenna is only 1 part of the system, I fail to see where any of the associated electronic equipment would go such as the computers and how it would even be powered as most spaa tank conversions have entirely seperate engines to power such systems. The only option I could see that would fit phisically would be a simple irst tracking system but even still the associated electronics and the era this vehicle was developed, which brings me onto -
Historcal
This is a development from the early 1970’s even the chieftain marksman didnt come about till the late 1980’s to add a radarsystem to the Falcon would be entirely unrealistic given that radar systems had only just began getting into the miniaturization phase.
even the towed rapier missile system that entered service in the same era (early 1970’s) needed significant ground power to be used. -

The only realistic option i see is to give the Falcon the ability to deploy a towed/ground based radar to deploy or maybe even give it a towed rapier system to deploy much like how the toptier multivehicle spaa work.
I could see this as a good option since the og Rapier system only uses 2 missiles and would be static and would work well enough to be kept a BR of 8.3 and imo Rapiers are quite easy to defeat (though im not sure about their early variants performance) -
Forgo adding the radar and take the BR back down to 8.0 with a period of review to allow for ajustments down to 7.7 if need be. Afterall the British tech tree already has viable spaa at that BR with the Chieftain Marksman (8.3) and the ZA-35 (8.7) the latter being a higher tier and lacking apds belts too(which it doesnt need)
I would encourage discussion on this topic from the developers and community on this.
I fondly believe the 8.0 BR bracket in Ground Realistic Battles is where WarThunder shines and has the best gameplay, atleast in my personal opinion.
That is all and thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Thanks in advance.
