So, after the Hornet’s Sting update, whenever I go into a match or test drive, after a couple of seconds of moving, my game freezes. I do play on a Mac and on high settings, but my game ran fine in the last two updates with high settings. This update, to me at least, doesn’t seem to be the most graphics-intense War Thunder update—correct me if I’m wrong, though. Is my problem a game issue because Gaijin still needs to patch stuff, or is it a Mac problem?
Having a lot of problems as well after the last Hornet update. Game stutters and freezes. Usually it freezes completely, without war thunder detecting a freeze and quitting the game automatically. If I cmd-tab out of the game I have weird screen glitches. And have to reboot, or sometimes force a power down for a fresh restart. Having a Mac too.
Normally Gajin fixes theses bugs after a few weeks after a major update.
Fingers crossed…
I play on Mac, and I also started experiencing freezing after this update. Never had such before.
Hopefully you’re right.
Same issue on Windows for me. Max settings other then RT and game sometimes completely freezes and I have to alt+F4. Never happened to me before. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
Ok, so this worked for War Thunder, whether downloaded from their website or Steam, but deleting and then reinstalling the game seemed to work for me. The freezes have stopped.
Same. It says “Connection to the Internet was lost” or something like that almost every time. I think the basement guy might’ve touched some codes…
Deleting and reinstalling kind of works; you’ll still have some games where you freeze or crash, but it won’t be all of them.
Getting the same issues… in my experience it will be some before G fixes it if its a Mac issue.
