Both are different.
You can get permaban by using a wrong/offensive nick name? I thought at worst they just changed it to something else, like numbers, permaban isn’t only an exclusive punishment for players who uses cheats or automation program like botting?
They used to, but I think they got tired of it being a martyrdom ‘I took it for the team’ situation with some packs who were playing fools in chat.
