My friend is saying the Abrams is better than t-80u what are you going to say to him to proven wrong

Ah so you mean about few points where he can be proven wrong.

T-80U has better speed while driving forward
It is smaller than Abram which can sometime be easy to hide
It will have same reload speed even if you lose one crew where as in Abram if you lose two crew your reload becomes slower
T-80U can sometimes be played without using much of your brain however you would need to use your brain for the Abram
T-80U turret basket is not linked to turret drive where as Abram turret basket is
T-80U does not have a giant turret ring weak spot

However all these point still do not change the fact that Abram is better than T-80s

As far as the M1s go I hardly ever get matched against the US. However when I did for nearly the first time yesterday I panic fired centermass at an Abrams with L26 and cut through them like butter. One Abrams smoked and I blind fired into the smoke and penned the turret cheek and set off ammo.
If that had been a T-80 I would have died multiple times over.

I would say the T-80u is better for most players, but as @dragonbank put it, the Abrams has a higher skill ceiling.

Both the Abrams and the T-80 are great tanks if you play them in the right way. These 2 tanks have different playstyles, and it will all come down to the player who plays them.

I heard that the t-90m is better bro because people around here say it is invincible, impossible to kill.

In real life, the Abrams is probably the best tank ever made. Since Uranium Armor Meanwhile, in real life, Russia’s T-series tanks are garbage at best. They suffer from terrible maintenance and poor overall reliability—broken and badly designed. They only look good on propaganda papers. Since War Thunder mainly relies on paper specifications, that’s why they perform decently in the game.

Abrams is better. He is not wrong.
Abrams has better reverse, gun handling, shells, reload, survivability, depression, ammo stowage, utility, among other things.

Absolutely nothing since he is right

hes right, kinda

Ignore the American mains.

Armour is on par with similar weakspots in the drivers hatch

Abrams has better reload and gun handling

T80 is faster forward but worse in reverse

T80 doesnt have american teammates

overall the vehicles in game are a solid match

Let your friend be happy, simple as that. Don’t be like those idiots who show up in some debate about the Su-57, for example, just to say it’s bad.

It’s russian

Abrams is literally the best top tier tank in the game idk what to tell you

Errrr i wouldn’t say it is the best

It has the second best shell bar DM63, it has a 5 second reload, has the best armour and decent mobility, my only complaint with it is lack of a decent APS and its less than optimal thermals

Beside this i would agree with what all you have said. It does not have best armor though

DM53

I personally find it more reliable than when I play Leopards and Challengers, I dont have any Russian MBTs cant speak for them but they’re easy as to kill

Typo ignore that lol

Leopard 2A7V and Strv 122 have better armour that is just a fact

Less reliable armour though

M1A1
apart being having 5 sec reload
Better gun handling,
Good mobility
M829A1/A2 being a strong penning round
being able to reverse
Gen 1 thermals
Armour is average, may shrugs off some hits, but still easy to pen, in the turret ring and hull
still easy to pop

T80U
alright-ish shell option
3Bm46 is fine
the Armour is good
the gun handling is not that great
abysmal reverse speed
gen 1 thermals
still can be easy to pop

Conclusion
the Abrams is better
it also depends on which Abrams

Yes, the T-80U is better than the M1 Abrams. It has a bigger gun, better armor, and better speed. And better rounds. Its unsurprising, given the M1 Abrams is a 10.7 with a 105mm and M774, if I may add.

I mean he’s not wrong in premise, in a good players hands, the Abrams’ is a more flexible MBT and has a higher skill ceiling, T-80’s, and especially 72/90’s throttle you pretty hard

But if he’s saying something like T-80U vs base M1, then the 80U is for certain better compared to the actual 10.7 T-80, the B

M1A1 / IPM1 vs T-80U is a different story though.
