Hello everyone, I would like to ask for some help. I’m a Brazilian player, and my account is linked to Steam. Recently, when I returned to the game, I was met with a notification that my account had been permanently suspended for violating the following clause:
Under clause 3.2.3 of Gaijin EULA (Annex No. 2 to the Terms of Service, available at: https://legal.gaijin.net/termsofservice), the use of unauthorized game modifications is a material breach of the EULA. Such a breach leads to the termination of Gaijin Services and, as a result, restriction of your access to Gaijin’s Games (see clause 11.2 of Gaijin EULA).
I opened a ticket asking why this happened and requested evidence and data regarding the reason for my ban. They simply responded with:
“We regret to inform you that no information about the methods of operation of our security systems and account verification is provided.”
I’m absolutely shocked by this, as I am fully confident that I have never used any kind of cheat or modification in the game. It’s even more frustrating knowing that I spent money on in-game purchases (especially considering how expensive everything is here in Brazil), and it makes no sense that I would be banned. For this reason, I requested information on what the system detected and asked for a review of my match history to show that there was no change in my behavior. Another important point is that I play through Steam, so I have no idea how the client could have been modified, as it’s linked directly to the Steam platform.
I would like help on how to proceed, because I think this is a complete disregard for the players — simply banning someone without a proper review and relying 100% on their system, which, if it makes a mistake, offers no chance to re-evaluate the player. It’s a complete “we don’t care about you” attitude.
I want to go all the way to prove my case, as I really enjoy the game and had just come back to play during the July 4th promotions — which, due to this outrage, I wasn’t able to enjoy. I’m considering seeking legal advice and invoking the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, which is quite strong, and since I made purchases in my local currency, I believe it applies. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your attention.
